Plain weave

Probably the most common type of metal wire mesh is the plain weave type.

Here, every second wire is bound in, continuously switching between warp and weft. The advantage of this method is the perfect mesh, which is probably the best in terms of precision and stability of form. Used in filtration and screen printing.
